This course replaces the earlier M.Phil in Clinical Psychology program from 2025-26 onwards and provides both academic knowledge and practical clinical training under RCI guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is important to understand that this\u00a0<strong>RCI-recognised MA in Clinical Psychology<\/strong>\u00a0is different from the regular\u00a0<strong>MA or MSc degrees in Psychology, Applied Psychology, or Clinical Psychology<\/strong>\u00a0offered by many universities, such as Delhi University (DU), Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those university-based master\u2019s degrees are\u00a0<strong>general academic programs<\/strong>\u00a0in psychology and do not include the supervised clinical training or professional licensing eligibility that the RCI course provides. As a result, students who complete a regular MA or MSc in Psychology\u00a0<strong>cannot register with the RCI as Clinical Psychologists<\/strong>\u00a0unless they complete the RCI-recognised course (previously M.Phil, now the new MA in Clinical Psychology).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong> A\u00a0<strong>four-year BA\/B.Sc degree in Psychology<\/strong>\u00a0from a UGC-recognised university with a\u00a0<strong>minimum of 55% marks<\/strong>\u00a0(50% for SC\/ST candidates).
