What about a child who suddenly withdraws from social interactions, stops attending school, or experiences overwhelming anxiety before exams? As educators, caregivers, and counselors, we witness these struggles daily\u2014but do we always know how to help?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At UPS Education we believe that every child deserves to be heard, understood, and supported. Thus, we are offering a School Counsellors Certificate Program (SCCP) for teachers, school counselors, child psychologists, or someone passionate about working with children. It is a skill-building program designed to equip participants with basic skills essential to working with children and adolescents. This program will provide you with tools to support children\u2019s well-being effectively. The online applications are invited for the same with an enrollment link given below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UPS Education is a unit of Utsaah Psychological Services Private Limited. It was established with the aim of spreading awareness\/ knowledge of Psychology and Mental Health in India. Currently, Utsaah Psychological Service offers its services in the fields of Health, Education, and Research. Utsaah is also running another unit Psychologs, India\u2019s First Psychology Magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course Overview<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The School Counsellors Certificate Program is designed to provide foundational knowledge and skills essential to support children in academic, social, and emotional well-being. This would be beneficial for educators, school staff, aspiring counselors, and professionals who are interested in enhancing their skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The curriculum of the program covers fundamental aspects of understanding the emotional and behavioral problems in children, application of child psychology, identification and assessment of children, common mental health issues in school, planning interventions and prevention, and fostering effective communication skills. A significant portion is dedicated to enabling participants to recognize behavioral patterns, emotional challenges, and social factors that influence well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pedagogy used during the School Counsellors Certificate Program is a blend of theoretical understanding with its practical application. The sessions will be facilitated in online mode through a PowerPoint presentation including brainstorming exercises, discussions, reflective activities, and case studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
