Interested candidates should read this article to get all the relevant information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About NIEPID<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NIEPID, was created in 1984 at Manovikasnagar, Secunderabad, is an autonomous body under the administrative control of Deparment of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice &amp; Empowerment, Government of India. It has three regional centers located at\u00a0<strong>Noida, NCT-Delhi, Kolkata, &amp; Mumbai.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NIEPID, Secunderabad is also affiliated with Osmania University. NIEPID\u2019s MPhil Rehabilitation Psychology (2025) course is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria &amp; Other Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The minimum educational requirement for the admission to this course is an MA\/MSc degree in Psychology from the UGC recognized university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates [<em><strong>of General Categories<\/strong><\/em>] must have a <strong>minimum of 55% <\/strong>marks in aggregate. For <strong><em>SC\/ST categories<\/em> <\/strong>a <strong>minimum of 50% <\/strong>marks are required in aggregate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates must need to submit an Eligibility Certificate from Osmania University (<em>applicable to students from institutions other than Osmania University<\/em>) within 15 days from the date of joining. Failure to submit will result in cancellation of admission, and the amount paid will be forfeited.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Original certificates deposited will not be released during the course. Students are advised to keep a sufficient number of photocopies before submitting the original certificates to the office at the time of admission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates once admitted to the course will not be allowed to withdraw under any circumstances. If a candidate still wishes to leave the course for any reason, the total fee and deposits paid will be forfeited.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exam Pattern<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Exam will consist of 100 multiple choice questions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Syllabus will consist of <strong>General Psychology<\/strong>, <strong>Disability Acts &amp; Policies<\/strong>, <strong>Research &amp; Statistics<\/strong>, <strong>General Knowledge, Arithmetic, Reasoning, etc.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There will be Counselling\/Interview Session after the Exam.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Course Duration and Number of Seats<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Duration<\/strong>: 2 Years, Full time course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Number of Seats<\/strong>: 15<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Process, Required Documents &amp; Fee Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To apply for the MPhil Rehabilitation Psychology program at NIEPID, Secunderabad, candidates must fill the application form attached below. Download the form and take a print out of it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go through the application form and read everything carefully and fill in all the necessary details and attach the required documents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then send everything via post to the following address:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Incharge, Academics<\/strong><br>National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with<br>Intellectual Disabilities (Divyangjan),<br>Manovikasnagar,<br>Secunderabad \u2013 500009,<br>Telangana<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Documents Required<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please attach the following documents with the application form:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Birth certificate or SSC\/Matriculation certificate as proof of date of birth (<em>self-attested copy<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self Attested copy of Intermediate (12th Std) Marksheet\/Certificate. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Master\u2019s degree or any other equivalent qualification, along with the marks\/grade statement of the examination (<em>self-attested copy<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended (<em>self-attested copy<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For SC\/ST candidates, a Social Status Certificate issued by the competent authority must be submitted. For OBC candidates, an OBC (NCL) Certificate in the format prescribed by the Government of India must be submitted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the candidate is a person with disability, a certificate from the government-prescribed certifying authority must be provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An ICR sheet must be included with your application [find it attached with the Application form below](<em>mandatory<\/em>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Demand Draft (non-refundable) drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favor of Director, NIEPID payable at Secunderabad\/Hyderabad should be submitted.
