Eligibility Criteria
- The applicants must have an MA/MSc Degree in Psychology from a UGC recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
Application Process
From the academic session 2025–26, UGC-NET scores will be used for Ph.D. admissions at AUD. No separate entrance exam will take place at AUD.
Based on the scores obtained in NET exam, the candidates will be able to apply into 3 categories:

For Stdents who qualify in category 2 & 3, 70% of weightage will be given to the UGC-NET Score and 30% will be given to the Interview for the Admission at AUD PhD. The final admission will be based on the combined merit of marks obtaind in the NET Exam & the Interview.
The marks obtained in the NET exam in category 2 & 3, are valid for 1 year from the date of result, for admissions to PhD programs.
