Various institutes have opened admissions for the 1-year RCI-recognized Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PDCP) for the academic session 2024-25. Eligible candidates may apply online for PDCP for these institutions with the link provided in this article.
RCI designed the Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PDCP) as an intensive one-year diploma program to provide its trainees with comprehensive practical skills and hands-on experience in Clinical Psychology.
Graduates of this 1-year regular diploma program are eligible to register under the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) as Clinical Psychologists (Associate).

This course allows you to function as:
1. To practice as a Clinical Psychologist Associate with RCI registration.
2. Carry out the psychological assessment to reduce psychological distress & promote psychological well-being among the population.
3. Interview patients, and conduct assessments or diagnostic tests to address mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
Eligibility Criteria of PDCP for all institutes:
MA/ MSc in Psychology/ Clinical/ Applied Psychology from a university recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
For the SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD category, a minimum of 50% in aggregate is essential for admission to all the RCI-recognized Universities.
